A photo of two men constructing a rooftop using a scaffolding. Most buildings in the Netherlands are constructed mostly by brick and clay roofing tiles.
The Netherlands has strong building requirements regarding fire-safety. Therefore a very low amount of wood is used in construction when compared to other/less-regulated countries. Drywall is also used extensively in building-construction in this area. Because the Netherlands has a high population density, these safety requirements are important to prevent high fatality incidents.
The photo was made with the Sony DSC-HX90V Camera*, a very compact ultra-zoom camera that is used for multiple StockyPics photos.
